Aug 25, 2014 - | 06:30 PM - | Blandford Hall

Owensboro Community and Technical College (OCTC) is hosting auditions for the Fall 2014 Oak Island Theatre Production. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, August 25 at 6:30 p.m. in Blandford Hall, located in the Humanities building on the main campus at 4800 New Hartford Road.  OCTC’s Oak Island Theatre is a collaborative group of faculty, staff, students, and community members. Some of the recent productions include  “Best Little Whorehouse House in Texas” and “Story Theatre”.

The production will be directed by Dr. Julia Ledford, Associate Dean of the Humanities division, she commented, “I’ve found that sometimes it works best to hold the auditions and see what the actors are interested in, see what specific talents they have, and then select the play.” If you are unable to attend but would like to be considered for the production, or more information about the Oak Island Theatre call Dr. Julie Ledford at 270-686-4623 or email
