Associate in Arts/Associate in Science

Interested in a career that requires a bachelor’s degree? Start at OCTC and save big. An associate degree in arts gives you many options in fields such as English, theatre and fine art to name a few. You can start here and transfer to any public university in the Kentucky. Our students do well when they go on to 4-year institutions, and many of them qualify for transfer scholarships.

The Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE), the universities and KCTCS joined forces to design pathways for bachelor’s degree programs. That means you have assurance that your courses will transfer. A student can complete the first two years of college without committing to a particular university. With advance planning, you can save time and money. Go to www.cpe.state.ky.us/going2/going2_transfer_planning.asp for details.
