Customer Service Certification

This program will give participants the opportunity to obtain the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), a National Professional Certificate in Customer Service (NPCSS), Educational instruction will be provided by a certified teacher to deliver the National Retail Foundation course in Retail Operations. The five-part retail operation course includes facilitator and participant guides targeting specific areas of skill and knowledge: Retail Industry Overview, Customer Service, Selling and Service, Store Operations, and Getting the Job.

Come learn how to create a FREE Internet presence on Google, Bing, Yahoo, Yelp and Facebook. Susan Smith will teach you how you can monitor whether these sites have had any hits to determine whether to offer discounts or coupons through them. This is a hands-on workshop.

QuickBooks

This course covers the fundamentals of using QuickBooks to track the finances of a small business. Kevin Schwartz, CPA with Myriad CPA Group, will teach you how to set up a new company, manage bank account transactions, maintain customer and vendor information, generate reports, and write and print checks. You will also create invoices and credit memos, add custom fields, set up budgets, and learn about data backup/protection.
