Here a few helpful hints for what comes next.
Commencement will take place on Thursday, December 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the RiverPark Center. Please arrive at 5:30 p.m. that evening. Practice will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. This session is designed to give you important information concerning your commencement. Your participation in practice will be greatly appreciated.
If you plan to participate in Commencement, you will need to purchase your cap and gown from the Owensboro Community and Technical College Bookstore on the Main Campus from November 1 – 30. The Bookstore hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have a black cap and gown and are not purchasing one from the bookstore, you must contact the Student Records office on the main campus no later than Friday, November 30 at 4:00 p.m. at (270) 686-3791. We need this information so we can make sure that your name will be announced at the ceremony.
You do not have to attend the Commencement Ceremony to receive your credential. You will receive your credential in the mail approximately 10 weeks after the end of the term in which you graduate.
