Klauber Named OCTC President

Dr. Michael B. McCall has selected Dr. James Klauber as the new Owensboro Community amp; Technical College President. The OCTC Board recommended Klauber unanimously for the position after meeting with the candidates on Friday afternoon.

Dr. McCall stated, I feel confident that Dr. Klauber will provide the leadership OCTC needs to continue in its mission of enhancing the educational attainment of the area. I commend the board and the search committee for the time and committment they have invested in this process.

Klauber currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Piedmont Technical College in South Carolina. "I am honored to be named the next President of Owensboro Community amp; Technical College. KCTCS is the best two-year college system in the country, and I am excited to join the team. Owensboro is a great community with excellent schools, and a quality of life that will bring exceptional opportunities for my family. My wife, Teresa and I look forward to joining the community." Klauber said. Dr. Klauber is perfectly positioned to assist the region in economic development and will bring a fresh enthusiasm to the KCTCS system. said McCall.
