WELSH EXHIBITS URBAN LANDSCAPES AT OCTC Dayman Gallery Jan. 15 Feb. 19

An exhibition entitled, Urban Landscapes by Dan Welsh is on display in the Dayman Gallery located at Owensboro Community amp; Technical Colleges main campus. The exhibition opens January 15 and closes February 19. An artists reception will be held on Friday, January 15, 7 to 9 pm, the public is invited.

The exhibition includes a selection of paintings, drawings, and watercolors by Owensboro artist Dan Welsh. Welsh studied art and received his Bachelor of Art Degree from Brescia University in 1976. His primary subject is the urban landscape and states, His art is all about angles, shape placement, and color. The exhibit consists of eighteen artworks depicting the Owensboro urban landscape.

The Dayman Gallery is located on the 2nd floor of the Learning Resource Center. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday 7:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information contact Monty Helm at 686-4626 or monty.helm@kctcs.edu.
