OCTC Chorus Begins Spring Rehersals

The Owensboro Community and Technical College Chorus will begin rehearsals for a Spring concert on Monday evenings beginning August 10. Open to all interested singers, the chorus was founded in the spring of 1987 and continues under the direction of Dr. Connie Ford, Professor of Music. Consisting of community members, high school students, college students and faculty, the chorus has performed with the Owensboro Symphony and in various venues in the Owensboro area. Accompanied by piano instructor Angela Bruce, the chorus rehearses on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. in H-130 of the Humanities Building. A concert of seasonal works, spanning a variety of choral styles, is planned for spring. Interested singers may contact Ford at 686-4629, or by email connie.ford@kctcs.edu.
