Ready to Work: Assistance for Low-Income Parents

Ready to Work (RTW) is a partnership between the Kentucky Community and Technical College System and the KY Cabinet for Health and Family Services, Department for Community Based Services.

W&L serves KYAE/DCBS counties: Daviess, Hancock, McLean, and Ohio

RTW is designed to assist low-income parents who are enrolling in and attending community and technical colleges in Kentucky. RTW can help with :

-Counseling, advocacy and mentoring
-Referrals to community resources
-Job references and referrals
-Job readiness, life skills, and academic success seminars
-Work study opportunities both on and off campus
