Auditions for OCTC's Oak Island Theatre

Owensboro Community and Technical College (OCTC) is hosting auditions for the Fall 2014 Oak Island Theatre Production. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, August 25 at 6:30 p.m. in Blandford Hall, located in the Humanities building on the main campus at 4800 New Hartford Road. OCTCs Oak Island Theatre is a collaborative group of faculty, staff, students, and community members. Some of the recent productions include Best Little Whorehouse House in Texas and Story Theatre.

The production will be directed by Dr. Julia Ledford, Associate Dean of the Humanities division, she commented, Ive found that sometimes it works best to hold the auditions and see what the actors are interested in, see what specific talents they have, and then select the play.
