GG Talbott Memorial 5K-Sat. April 10

Grant G. Talbott Memorial 5K Road Race will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010. Late registration and check in begin at 8 AM on the main campus of OCTC at 4800 New Hartford Road. All registered participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Entry fees are $15 before April 5, $20 after April 5, $10 for OCTC students.

The race begins at 9AM at Legion Park on East Byers Avenue and continues around Veach Road ending on the main campus of OCTC. Please park at the campus; a complimentary shuttle will transport runners/walkers to the starting line.

Lots of awards, door prizes and a cash drawing for $250, and you must be present to win! Awards and drawings will begin immediately following the race completion. Grant G. Talbott served as a counselor and mentor at OCTC for ten years after retiring from OHS. He was a friend and mentor to many during his lifelong commitment to education. Talbott coordinated the road race from 1998-2007.
