Local BBT Donates for Endowed Scholarships

Dr. Larry Durrence, president of Owensboro Community amp; Technical Colleges accepts a check presented by Scott McCain, City Executive of the local BBT Bank for $7,500. The contribution will help the OCTC Foundation reach its goal of $50,000 for an endowed scholarship. When OCTC has raised $50,000, it will qualify to receive a dollar for dollar match that would create a $100,000 endowed scholarship for students at Owensboro Community amp; Technical College.
