Owensboro Community and Technical College (OCTC) have awarded STEM Scholarships
to the following McLean County students who are graduating in 2015: Steven Abney,
Justin Douglas, Mason Hidenrite, and Trenton Redfern. Steven Abney and Justin Douglas
have declared an interest in Electrical Technology and Industrial Maintenance Technology;
Mason Hidenrite and Trenton Redfern plan to pursue Welding Technology. The STEM scholarships
are awarded competitively and are funded in part through a grant from the National
