New Floral Design Class Begins This Fall

Owensboro Community and Technical College will offer a new course in floral design this fall.

The class, offered through OCTCs Horticulture Program, will help students build skills for working in floral design. Students will learn about using flowers, containers and tools for decorative arrangements as well as business management, cost analysis and marketing. The class will meet 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Aug. 20.

The course is open to anyone. If you are not a student at OCTC, you may take the class as a non-degree seeking student. Registration is going on now. For information, contact Chelsea Williams at Chelsea.williams@kctcs.edu .
