OCTC 30th ANNIVERSARY SCHOLARSHIP GIVEAWAYS FAMILY FUN DAY, SATURDAY NOVEMBER 5

Owensboro Community amp; Technical College (OCTC) is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this month with multiple on campus events, culminating with a Family Fun Day on Saturday, November 5, at the main campus at 4800 New Hartford Road. The college will give away thirty course scholarships valued at $492 each during the month, and two full semester scholarships, valued at $2,460 each on November 5 at 3:30 p.m.

The winners will be drawn weekly. Course scholarship winners may win only (1) course during the campaign, all course winners will be added back to the pool of entries for the semester scholarship drawing on November 5. Those winning a semester scholarship will forfeit their course scholarship if applicable, and that award will be re-awarded to another participant. In order to claim the semester scholarship, you must be present to win. All scholarships are non-transferrable and non-refundable, and must be used at OCTC for OCTC courses. Congratulations to:

The November 5 daylong celebration on campus will feature a cruise-in (9:30 a.m. -1 p.m.), live music (beginning at 10 a.m.), a petting zoo, face painting, inflatables, hay rides, a student art sale, KY Frontiersman presentations by Randy King featuring Libby Warren, program demonstrations, fire trucks, and food trucks. The live musical performances will begin at 10 a.m. and include Skylar Cain and Hayley Payne, Andy Brasher, Buddha and the Pests, Troy Miller, the Fabulous Rodenberg Boys, and Health and Molly.
