OCTC Chorus Begins Rehearsals

The Owensboro Community and Technical College Chorus will begin rehearsals in preparation for a fall concert on Monday, August 30. Open to interested singers looking for a vibrant and challenging choral experience, the chorus was organized in the spring of 1987 and continues under the direction of Dr. Connie Ford, Professor of Music. Consisting of community members, college students and faculty, and area high school students, the chorus has performed with the Owensboro Symphony and in various venues in the area. Accompanied by piano instructor Angela Bruce, the chorus rehearses on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. in H-130 of the Humanities Building. A concert of seasonal works is planned for December 6.
