OCTC Faculty Art Exhibit

Owensboro Community and Technical College (OCTC) will be exhibiting a collection of art by Enid Roach, local artist and instructor, in OCTCs Dayman Art Gallery. Roachs collection of painting and ceramics is entitled Summertime. Roach finds inspiration through nature and celebrates the life of summer through this selections for this exhibit. Roachs extensive art resume includes her most recent Best in 2-D Award from the 2013 Owensboro Art Guild Juried Show.

OCTCs Art program coordinator, Monty Helm states, the Dayman Art Gallery has allowed us to showcase local artists and give them a platform to display their collections. Currently, Roachs work is on display at Owensboro Museum of Fine Art and the Evansville Museum of the Art and Science.

Enid Roachs Summertime exhibit will be on display from September 10 through October 31, 2014. The OCTC Dayman Gallery is located on the upper level of the Learning Resource Center on the main campus, at 4800 New Hartford Road. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Friday 7:45 a.m. 4 p.m.
