OCTC HOSTS GEORGE ELLA LYON

Owensboro Community amp; Technical College is hosting the author of Catalpa, George Ella Lyon, on campus April 12-13. Catalpa is an inspiring poetry collection and includes topics as diverse as Lyons Appalachian roots, parenting issues, and the British writer Virginia Woolf.

Tuesday, April 12: Creative writing workshop at 2 p.m. in HUM 127. Interested community members should contact tonya.northenor@kctcs.edu if they would like to participate, due to seating limitations.

Wednesday, April 13: Author Reading at 12:30, in Blandford Hall.

Book signing and sales to follow reading.
