OCTC Multicultural Summit

Owensboro Community amp; Technical Colleges faculty and staff will be participating in a Multicultural Summit on Monday, September 27 from 11 AM- 1:30 PM in the Advanced Technology Center. The event is free and interested community members can attend.

Guest speakers for the event will be Dr. Gwen Joseph, and KCTCS Vice President and Natalie Gibson, KCTCS Diversity Director, they will present Beyond the Numbers-The New KCTCS Diversity Plan.

In addition to the presentation, faculty and staff are asked to participate by bringing a cultural dish and wearing representative clothing as applicable. Community members can participate by attending the event or by completing a survey on diversity expectations. The event is co-sponsored by the OCTC Global Studies Committee and the Office of Diversity Programs.
