OCTC NAMED PROMETRIC TEST CENTER

Owensboro Community and Technical College has been named as a new Prometric Satellite Test Center. This designation expands exam offerings and ensures the security, quality and reliability of the industry specific exams. OCTCs initial offering will be for ASE Certification Tests for area automotive technicians. ASE, is short for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. ASE is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to improve the quality of the vehicle repair and service industry by testing and certifying automotive professionals. Take advantage of our local test center by registering for a certification testing today. Interested automotive professionals can register at ase.com or call Prometric at 1-877-346-9327. Once registration is complete, you will receive an ASE Eligibility Number, then contact Christi Bowman the OCTC Coordinator of Assessment Services at (270) 686-4456 or via e-mail at christi.bowman@kctcs.edu, to schedule your exams. These tests will be administered at the OCTC Downtown Campus, 1501 Frederica Street, Owensboro.

OCTCs transportation programs teach ASE industry recognized standards to our students and now we have an opportunity to allow them convenient access to become ASE credentialed.
