Owensboro, KY (January 11, 2010) New music courses at Owensboro Community amp;
Technical College! The music department at OCTC will be offering two new courses for
the spring 2010 term in performance and private study. A Jazz ensemble, directed by
Joseph Choi, Assistant Conductor of the Owensboro Symphony and Director of the Owensboro
Symphony Youth Orchestras, will meet on Tuesday evenings at 7:00, and private trombone
study, taught by David Goodwin, Owensboro Symphony Education Director, is scheduled
by appointment. Each course offers one hour of college credit, or may be audited.
Registration for the Spring 2010 semester continues through Friday, January 15. For
