OCTC OFFERS HR CERTIFICATION PREP TRAINING

Owensboro Community and Technical Colleges Workforce Solutions division will offer an HR Certification Prep class for human resource professionals beginning January 14, 2016. This course is recommended for anyone currently working in a human resources position.

The HR Certification Prep Course offers an in-depth overview of key areas in human resource management. It prepares participants for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification examinations administered by the Human Resource Certification Institute.

Instructors in the program are either PHR or SPHR certified and have extensive work experience as human resource professionals.

The HR Certification Prep Course will meet Thursday evenings from January 14 - April 21, 2016, from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Classes will be held in Room 8 of Owensboro Community and Technical Colleges Downtown Campus located at 1501 Frederica Street. The cost is $1,250 per person and includes materials.
