OCTC STUDENT ART EXHIBIT PATRICK BENNETT FEB 29-MAR 25

Owensboro Community amp; Technical College hosts student art exhibit. Artworks by Patrick Bennett are on display in the Dayman Gallery between February 29 and March 25. The exhibition feature paintings, drawings, watercolors, and mixed media works.

Bennett is in his final semester at OCTC where he has studied visual art. His work is included in the OCTC Permanent Collection. Bennett plans on continuing his academic endeavors at the University of Southern Indiana. He will be entering the Art Education Program. Bennett states, My art is a touch of everything, different media, different techniques, etc. I like to try something at least once so I can have an understanding how past artists accomplished what they did, and to hopefully better myself as a future art teacher.

The Dayman Gallery is located on the 2nd floor of the Learning Resource Center. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday 7:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information contact Monty Helm at (270) 686-4626.
