OCTC's Oak Island Theatre presents "The Diary of Anne Frank"

Owensboro Community amp; Technical College's Oak Island Theatre will present The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman on Thursday, Nov. 4th at 2 p.m., and Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in Blandford Lecture Hall in the Humanities Building on OCTCs Main Campus at 4800 New Hartford Road.

This production features performances by several students from Brescia University, Owensboro Community amp; Technical College, and Owensboro Middle School. As Brescia University, OCTC, Kentucky Wesleyan College, and RiverPark Center begin the collaborative theatre arts degree, students in the first class for the degree are working together in preparations of lighting, scenery, performance, and other production essentials.

The cast includes Stephen Harvey, Vickie Hayden, Leland Herzog, Emilee Seaman, Rachel Simmons, Blake Garrison, Justin Hentz, Rachelle Vargo, Jordan Voyles, Taylor Potter, Tyler Trogden and features Shelby Simmons, a 12 year old Owensboro Middle School student, as Anne.

This production is in conjunction with the OCTC Common Reading program for the semester. Group discounts are available. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 general admission.
