OCTC's WISE to Host Domestic Violence Workshop
October is national Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and OCTC's Women in Support of Education (WISE) has teamed up with the Daviess County Attorneys Office Domestic Violence Task Force to increase local awareness of the issue. A free educational workshop on domestic violence will be offered on Tuesday, October 23, 3:30 p.m. in Blandford Hall (Humanities Building), at the main campus of Owensboro Community and Technical College on New Hartford Road. Speakers will emphasize area resources available to victims of domestic violence and their advocates.
