RAD Student 100% Pass Rate

Owensboro Community amp; Technical College (OCTC) had twelve students graduate with Associate in Applied Science Degrees in Radiography on May 8, 2012. These students also must successfully pass a national professional licensure exam administered by American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in order to gain employment in any radiography department.

For the fifth year in a row the students from OCTC achieved a 100% pass rate on this exam. "This is a true testament to the dedication of the students in the program, the faculty that teach the program, and the folks who work with the students in the clinical setting. It speaks volumes about the quality of the graduates and the program." said Dr. Jim Klauber, president of OCTC. Joy Menser, coordinator for the radiography program added, Due to the commitment of the students the radiography program has become an elite program which has achieved excellence in technical and patient care skills. Our students achieve this through commitment, hard work and the support and dedication of all the faculty, clinical sites, technologist and college administration.
