State Robotics Competition Postponed due to Storm

The state robotics competition planned for Saturday, Dec. 7, at Owensboro Community and Technical College has been postponed due to the winter storm warning. It has been rescheduled for Feb. 1.

Twenty-four teams were scheduled to compete, representing schools and organizations across the state of Kentucky. Regional high schools scheduled to participate include Daviess County, Apollo, Owensboro, Trinity, South Spencer and Heritage Hills.

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is an international robotics competition for students ages 14-18. Students are responsible for designing, building, and programming unique robots to compete in a sports themed arena.
