Eleven students participated in the National Science Foundation program this summer at Western Kentucky University. The program ran from May 31 to Aug. 3 and included two students from Owensboro Community amp; Technical College. Savannah Bell studied the effect of growth hormone on the restoration of auditory function with Dr. Michael Smith and Jonathan Hendrie characterized an anticancer drug with Dr. Kevin Williams.
