OCTCs Common Reading 10th Anniversary Celebration

Owensboro Community and Technical Colleges Common Reading program will celebrate its 10-Year Anniversary with a Writers Festival and Book Fair. Free readings on March 19-20 will include notable authors of former Common Reading selections: Silas House, George Ella Lyon, Bobbie Ann Mason, Davis McCombs, Joe Survant, and Frank X Walker. All readings are free and open to the public and will include a discussion and book signing.


A writing seminar by Silas House will take place at 10 a.m. on March 21 ticket required. Seating is limited. An evening reception will be held on March 19, with the authors - ticket required. A book fair will be held on March 19-20. Writers tables are free, but limited. Admission to the book fair, featuring these authors and other local and regional writers, is free.
