Statewide Memorandum of Understanding

Each KCTCS college executes a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with their secondary dual credit partners outlining requirements for offering dual credit. The MOA is typically signed in the summer prior to the start of the fall semester; the MOA includes provisions for:

Program Oversight
Academic Policies & Accommodations
Student Eligibility & Enrollment
Dual Credit Course Offerings
Learning Management System & Communications Platforms
Awarding of College Credit
Financial Terms

The MOA for the upcoming school year is made available to colleges after the end of the legislative session and should be signed by August 1.

KCTCS executes an agreement with the Office of Career and Technical Education for all Area Technology Centers.
