What is Theatre?
Is life high drama or over the top comedy? Are you interested in acting, performing, directing, or turning your computer gaming skills toward technical theatre innovations? OCTC's Theatre Arts Program, an Associate in Fine Arts Degree, and theatrical experiences could be that special niche designed specifically for you, and for the development of your special skills. Students who plan to transfer to college or universities offering Bachelor in Fine Arts Degrees, this degree could be the start of something big. Our students hone their skills in acting, directing, and design, while completing courses in a variety of performance and production based explorations.
What are my degree, diploma, or certificate options?
The variety of theatrical experiences can be seen in some productions from the past including: Your Own Thing, Dracula, Antigone, Taming of the Shrew, A Year in the Life of Frog and Toad, Canterbury Tales, and Dinosaur Musical.

- Theatre - AFA (61-64 credit hours)

Length of Program
You can earn an Associate in Fine Arts degree in two years if you maintain full-time status.
