These workshops will help you better understand your academic plan, how to have an affordable and sea.m.less transfer to a 4-year college, review and understand the KCTCS Catalog, and learn about KCTCS’s online transfer hub. These workshops count as a “W” on your TRiO Incentive Card.

Lunch will be provided at WKU. You will tour WKU’s Main Ca.m.pus in Bowling Green and have an opportunity to ask questions from a WKU representative. Please meet in OCTC’s P5 parking lot no later than 10:45 a.m.. Transportation will be provided.

• Saturday, September 28, 2024/7:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. - Clayshire Castle Medieval Faire, Bowling Green, IN - OCTC/P5 Parking Lot

You must complete the Fall 2024 Orientation (in person/virtual) AND have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA before being approved to go on the trip. There is a $20 required cash deposit that must be paid by August 26, 2024. The deposit will be returned to you if you attend the trip. A picnic lunch will be provided. Food trucks will be available on-site at your expense. Meet in OCTC’s P5 Parking Lot no later than 7:15 a.m.. Bowling Green, IN is a 2.75-hour trip from OCTC’s ca.m.pus.

Did you know OCTC has a Nature Area? Enjoy a peaceful walk with Micah Perkins, OCTC Faculty, as he guides you through our Outdoor classroom. This workshop counts as a “W” on your TRiO Incentive Card. Participants will receive a bottle of OCTC honey made from honeybees at the OCTC Nature Center.

This event is a fundraiser for our progra.m.. Items are donated by faculty and staff and can be purchased by students and employees. Monetary cash donations are accepted. We would love participant volunteers. Please talk with a TRiO staff member for more information.
