Faculty Liaison

What is a Faculty Liaison?

Concurrent Enrollment Faculty Liaisons partner with CEP instructors to ensure that courses in their respective content area taught in the high schools align with the courses taught by the college. They serve as a mentor to CEP instructors and guide them through the curriculum alignment and college processes.

What does a Faculty Liaison do?

Faculty Liaisons coordinate professional development activities, document CEP instructor orientations, conduct one-on-one trainings, review and approve syllabi, attend Curriculum Alignment Day, conduct site visits, and coordinate assessment and grading alignment discussions. Working with the Discover College, the Faculty Liaisons ensure alignment with National Alliance for Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) standards and support the delivery of the highest quality concurrent enrollment courses possible.
