Academic Year Deadlines
- March (early) - Registration opens for upcoming Fall term
- July 15 - List of Fall and Year-Long Concurrent Courses to be submitted by high school coordinators to meredith.skaggs@kctcs.edu
- September 15 - Syllabi for Fall Semester Classes Due (send to your Liaison)
- September 20 - Verify Fall and Year-Long Rosters (send errors to your Navigator)
- September 30 - List of Spring Concurrent Courses to be submitted by high school coordinators to meredith.skaggs@kctcs.edu
- October (early) - Registration opens for upcoming Spring term classes
- December 12 - Deadline for Fall Semester Student Surveys
- December 12 - Deadline for Fall Semester Site Visits and Fall Grades Due (Liaisons submit documentation to meredith.skaggs@kctcs.edu)
- January (3rd Friday) - Syllabi for Spring Semester Classes Due (send to your Liaison)
- February - Curriculum Alignment Day

Certification Process
Certification of a concurrent enrollment course through the Discover College approaches essential questions of rigor and dedication to the curriculum. We believe in offering quality courses quality courses by following specific standards at state and national levels for accreditation. Thus, interested instructors are strongly encouraged to begin the certification process one year prior to the academic year the course would begin in their school.
A completed packet is required for certification. The instructor approval flowchart lists all required information necessary for application review

Professional Development
Discover College offers an annual Curriculum Alignment for all concurrent enrollment instructors. During this time, concurrent and on-campus instructors work together to align curriculum and discuss discipline specific issues and concerns.Participation in this professional development is strongly encouraged every year, but is required at minimum of every other year to remain in good standing with the program and offer credit.
Procedures and Grading
Discover College concurrent enrollment instructors must verify their class rosters online through Peoplesoft, the Colleges Student Administration System. All grades are due by the date above for each respective semester.
