Timelines and Priority Deadlines
Fall Semester
July
Students beginning classes in August should have all financial aid requirements completed by July 1st. Students with incomplete financial aid files and who have not set up a payment plan will be withdrawn from classes on Sunday at midnight before the first day of the semester.
Students are notified of missing information by:

- MyPath > Student Self-Service Center > Tasks tile
- Text messages
October
Students can complete the FAFSA at studentaid.gov typically starting October 1st each year.

- Students must complete a FAFSA each academic year.
Spring Semester
December
Students beginning classes in January should have all financial aid requirements completed by December 1st. Students with incomplete financial aid files and who have not set up a payment plan will be withdrawn from classes on Sunday at midnight before the first day of the semester.
January
OCTC scholarship application opens in January. The deadline to submit an application is April 1st year each. The scholarships will be awarded for the following academic school year.
April
The OCTC scholarship applications are due April 1st. The application is electronic and can be completed at the link above.
Summer Semester
